HOw much is it to install something in your car to make it pop the trunk? YOu know like how them texas boys do it! So yeah im getting a car this year and i wuz wonderin how much would it be to install something like that??

I had a 99 Grand Am that did not have a trunk release. I paid about $125 for a remote start and lock/unlock trunk release system, that was installed too. Check Circuit City, Best Buy, those types of places, they can tell you an estimate over the phone.

If you mean a "remote trunk release", most mid-grade to higher-end cars have it as an option. My Ford 96 Contour has it, for example. Basically it's a modified trunk latch that has a cable that runs all the way to the pull lever. However, it's factory equipment. If your car don't already come with it I can't think of any way of adding onto it cheaply, as it'll have to be custom made.
