I am looking to buy a new car and I want to know what others think about a 1999 Honda Accord EX the car has 109,000 miles on it and I can get it with my trade in for about 7,200. Is this a good price?
will this car last a long time? (Like into the 200,000 mile range) and if so what are some of the normal things that have to be replaces after about 100,000 mark, and on and on after that. I appreciate your input. Thanks

August 2005, I hit a truck from behind with my Corolla. (about 30 mph)
At the time of accident, the front of my car was totalled, and the truck had a dent on the bumper. That was all.
Nobody was hurt, and no one rushed to the hospital.
Actually at the time the accident occured, the driver and his friend came out to ask if I was alright, and told me nobody was hurt.
My insurance company paid for the damages, and I thought that was it.

Six months later, my adjuster sent a letter letting me know that this guy had spoken to a lawyer, and wanted to sue me.
I was nervous, but nothing happened.

Today (almost 1.5 yrs pasted), I received a letter from my adjuster that this guy is in the process of having a summom delivered to my insurance company and me. He's suing for injuries.

I personally think he's lying cuz
1) Why sue 6 months later?
2) He rushed out said nobody was hurt
3) He only got a dent, how is it possible to be hurt?

What is your opinion? Suggestions?

Hypothetically, if I wanted to finance a 2002 Honda Accord, and have perfect credit. How much of a down payment will I have to pay? and what would be your estimate of monthly payments?

Im not asking specifically for this car, I just want a outline of what i should expect of myself by the end of next summer, when I would like to finance a used car.

I went to the auto store this evening and was going to buy some transmission fluid... I thought I could get like Vavoline, but the guy in there informed me that for 01+ hondas... I need a specific kind that is made by honda (or another brand that puts some type of z1 formula or something)... Q1 is this true? .... And he said that if I have been putting the regular Vavoline in there, it could cause the transmission to slip...

Q2.. Now, i been taking it to a regular oil change shop for the trans fluid changes and they put the regular Vavoline in it, so if my tranny has begun to slip, could they be responsible for this?

I'm going to call honda the honda dealer tomorrow to find out, was just wondering if anyone else knew about this... Thanks!

I put the key in the ignition, go to start the truck and it just clicks. Some days it will crank with out a problem and others it will take about 20 turns of the key. Then sometimes it will crank half way and not start. What should i replace?????
