Yes, that's an awesome deal! Just make sure to check for any problems whatsoever. If it is in excellent condition, KBB says that (under my zip code) the private party value is over 8000, while good condition is around 7500.
You will want to::
-make sure that there is NOTHING significantly wrong with it
-ask for maintenance records
-if they have no records, ask them how long they have owned it, and how many times it has broken down
-ask what they replaced or repaired on it at all
if all goes well, GO FOR IT!!

The Accord has always been a reliable, long lasting car. Mostly, you just need to check for basic maintenance items. You will need to get the timing belt changed if it hasn't been already been done recently. Oil change records would be helpful. Check the condition of belts and hoses. Drive it around a parking lot slowly with the windows down and listen for any clunking noises from CV joints and front suspension. Make sure heat, air, and power accessories work. Check underneath for fluid leaks. Most cars this age with this many miles will have some issues. If you can rule out major problems, you can use some of what you find to negotiate on the price.

God there are a lot of stupid people here. Hondas arent MADE to last 200k..they can last 500k easy or even a million. Look on honda mileage makers they have a hybrid civic with 800,000 miles on it! 160k is nothing. Make sure the timing belt was changed. I would avoid the V6 as the quality of automatics was sketchy in the V6s. The car is 12 years old, so 160k is 13k a year! That is HIGH mileage?

terrible price with a trade. its a foreign car so the parts cost a little more then a non foreign car. you can find a better car for a better price locally at www.autotrader.com
also go to www.kbb.com to find out prices of used cars.
do alot of searching before you make a decision.
