Are they loose at all and won't pull off, or are they frozen in place? If they are loose and something is keeping them on, maybe it's the parking brake shoes that jeeps mentioned. The shoes are inside the back of the rotor inside the little drum.

If they are frozen on, then try the following:
And remember, I'm not saying to drive to the grocery store like this. Use some break-free spray as previously mentioned. Loosen the wheel bolts about one turn. Drive down the block and back again doing the NASCAR/Formula1 heat up the tires shuffle. In other words, do some fairly hard zig-zags, and hopefully it'll pop them loose. This works very well for stuck wheels. It puts a lot more pressure on the rotor than a hammer ever could.

I've not worked on a BMW brake system. Many other vehicles with rear rotors have a couple of threaded holes in the rotors (in between the wheel studs). You can run a couple of bolts into the threaded holes to force rotors off axle (providing they're available on your rotors).

TomSJ has it good. I somewhat have BMW 330i 2003 and the examine engine basic comes on and rancid from time to time besides. i spotted it relies upon on the gasoline aspect. at the same time as its complete it truly is okay, yet comes on 3/4 complete, then is going away, then reappears at a million/4 complete. unusual!! The broking advised me even before i purchased the vehicle that the gasoline tank vaccum sensor in BMWs are not basic and that i'd journey this problem. attempt very lighly lubricating the rubber seal of the gasoline tank cap or getting a sparkling one. i visit't say this can artwork for all and dissimilar, even with the undeniable fact that it looked as if it would artwork for me. often, once you've yet another problem the examine engine basic might want to proceed to exist.

oil around the stunds and wheel bering, if it is being stubbon a large hammer may be the key, hit it on the left and right front side. ebake inside the rotor also might be causing it not to come of, make sure that is off.
