I have a 99 jetta and it has about 110 horsepower. I'm looking for some easier and possibly cheap ways to increase my horsepower a little bit. Is there anything I can do? Thanks.

simplest way of increasing horse power would be to use one of these bad boys, or something like it that helps with the combustion.

First off you should head over to vwvortex.com and then go to forums->technical->2.0 and ask there.

There is no cheap and easy way to add a lot of horsepower to the 2.0 engine. There are superchargers and turbochargers, but if you don't go forced induction then you have to do things like changing the air intake, inlet manifold, complete exhaust system and engine management chip. Each of those will only gain you a couple of horsepower and will cost you hundreds of dollars.
