i have a '71 jeep cj5 with 225 cuin v6, a points type prestolite distributor. how do you put in an hei dist. from an oddfire 231 cuin v6? would like to see pictures too.

I have a 1990 Chrysler New Yorker 5th Avenue. The horn doesn't work but everything else on the steering column works. I was told there is a fuse for the horn. Is that correct? And if so, which fuse is it that I need to replace????

Hi I was wondering if it's possible for your phone company to get a judgement against you for your car?
My uncles car was repo'ed friday and the company that is holding the car is Southern Bell?
He didnt even own the car when the phone was
in his name?
He never put the car up for security with the phone company
so how did they get his car repo'ed
he doesnt owe anything on the car?

He was never notified of a court date either
he had one court date with this company
it was postponed years ago and was
never notified again of anything
Does this sound right?

i have had my car damaged twice at work, first time it was lightly keyed along the side, this time the other side has been deeply keyed and needs respraying(3 panels). this is going to be very expensive, and as i need my car to get to work, i want to know if i could make a claim against my employers. i informed the police the first time but they could not do anything. my employer says you park at your own risk, but is this really fair? i cannot get a lift or take the bus because i work shifts and no-one lives near me. anyway what's the point of paying all that money for a car if you can't use it. i can't find another job or i would be out of there by now, but i don't see why i should just because someone is being an ****hole. pleeeeeeeeeeeease help. is there a way to claim compensation, if so who do i get in touch with?

I've got problems with my 1972 ford mk1 escort. It runs but is very rough and has no power when you drive it. It you try and accelerate hard it just stalls. I've checked the electrics, and all is ok, which leaves fuel. So i'm removing the old fuel pump to c if theres any visible problems with it.
Any ideas on what else to check or look for?

a crotch rocket is not a bike,just becuase its fast and you can do a wheelie on it doesnt make it a mans bike. if you want a real bike get a harley.its not plastic and makes a whiney noise when you ride.

fyi,i ride a 2006 harley sportser and could of bought 2 crotch rockets for what i paid for mine.cuase it is twice the bike

Recentley the transmission started to slip. It will go as high as 2nd gear and then it revs real high and won't go faster then 35 mph before it slips completley out of gear. I took it to an auto parts store and they checked all fluids and said they were fine and then ran a diagnostic test on it. It came up with a P750 indicating that it was the shift soleniod malfunctioning. And when I asked them what the symtoms of a malfunctioning shift soleniod were they described everything that was happening with my car. They sounded pretty accurate. But when I called around to find someone to fix it they all said it was probley more then just the shift soleniod. I don't want to get ripped off and have someone tell me that there's more problems then there really are, but, I also want my car fixed. Do I believe the guy at the auto parts store or some rip-off mechanic?

I am trying to pick a good FM transmitter for my iPod. Many of the stronger units attach at the bottom and I don't think they will fit in the area designed for the lighter in my Honda (it is a 4 door model).

Did anyone try the hondalink? I was told that my car was too old. Also did anyone just get a line put in their car instead of using the FM transmitter?

My husband really wants a 1992 Camaro but he would like a t-top. We live in Hawaii so being picky is not working out for him and he hasn't been able to find one. I was just wondering if maybe we found one that had a regular hard top if we could have it made into a t-top.
