Installing a tach in a 1990 ford f-150?

Found a tach and decided to install it just for kicks. Not sure exactly how to do it. Anyone have any idea how?

Go to bulldogsecurity.com and look at the installation instruction for a security alarm on this vehicle. It will tell you where the tach wire is located and what color it is. You'll want to tie onto that wire for your tach. Good luck.

I have found the tach connection on the distributor most times.
