I remember my brothers friend buying a used Alliance in the early 90's for about 600 dollars. I think it was a 1985. It had four doors, and it was copper colored. It was a nice car, but it turned out to be a heap. I remember reading about a recall they had around that time with the heater cores exploding.

I have 95 grand am and yesterday it started idleing rough like it was missing but thats not the problem. The problem is it also emits a black gun powder smell when idleing or driving and once you reach 50 to 55mph it starting stalling and looses all power. If anyone knows of anything that would cause this i would appreceate it.

when i was 2 yrs. old i was backed over by a pick-up truck and was in the hospital for a week when i caught pnemonia and had to stay for another 5 days, none of this is what i remember... but when i got home my parents had that really funky furniture w/ the wooden arms and all the brown tone yarn in it.... anyway, my first memory that i can recall is those yarns irritated the hell out of the tire marks on my back!

I have a 1998 ford taurus and it drops speed rapidly and seems like it doesn't want to change gears. I have been told that it might be the speed sensor, does anyone know? Also, will that fix the transmission to?

my car has three coils 2 points on each one 2 of the three coils are showing about 6.14-6.32 ohms the third coil is showing about 5.14 ohms dose this mean its bad the coil dose have spark but might exsplain why my car is missing and back firing and running rough should i replace the coil or is that a normal reading

Hey my question is why doesn't Ford bring the European Focus ST over here to the States. Ford does sell the ST here, which comes with a slick interior with many nice features and a very nice 4 cylinder 2.3 litre Duratec motor that cranks out 151 horsepower. Don't get me wrong that is a sharp looking car. But over the Atlantic in Europe they have a faster and more sharp looking version of the Focus ST. The European ST is a hatchback (which their hatchback is completly redesigned front and back, not like here as the newer hatchbacks have only the front redone) which comes with very fast 5 cylinder 2.3 litre Duratec turbocharged motor that cranks out about 225 horses. I believe if Ford started to market the European version of the ST here in the States, they could compete very well with other cars that are in the same category. Such as the Chevrolet Cobalt SS and the Dodge Neon SRT-4. So does anyone know the reason why Ford will not bring the European ST over here to the States?

long story short: His daughter rear-ended us, we didnt feel pain at the time, so we said we were ok, later on we both start to feel pain(me more than her) and I want to get checked out, her dad calls me all nicely and offers to pay for the damage if I dont file a claim, I tell him I already filed a claim. He still offers to pay for the damage if it isnt toomuch. I tell him I wouldtake his payment if it was cheap, but that my girlfriend and I have gotten this pain from whiplash or something, and he gets pissed off and starts saying that they are going to fight this, and making it seem as if I was lying. What now? Was he implyiong that he wants to go to court or what? I just want to freaking feel the way I was before that incident!!!

I bought a 100,000 Mile warranty for my jeep liberty. My engine is blown and heavily sludged up. I have all my maintenance and oil receipts, infact Daimler service center was the last to do an oil change and had no report of sludge. This was a month before it was blown. Daimler refuses to honor my waranty and fix my engine. When I contacted my lawyer, I was told when I used an employee discount I agreed in fine print that I would never take Daimler to court, therefore voiding my waranty. Has anyone had this problem??
