With ignition coils, 1 ohm can be significant, but if you are getting spark, I would look elsewhere for the failure. Are the wires in the correct order, and going to the correct plug? Are any of the plug wires showing signs of "burn-through?
Does the "Check Engine" light come on?
These are some other areas to explore.

Good Luck

Check under the hood when its dark for spark jumping.Coils are a go or no go thing but the insulation around the high tension could be breaking down, check for spark jumping in that area too.The suspect coil could have a carbon track on it too.

You should probably tell us what kind of car you have. Have you checked your spark plugs first? What color are they? Do they have oil on them. Is your car fuel injected or carbuerated? Many things can cause misfiring and the coils arent where you start. Carbon build up on valves is another source to look for. Time for a mechanic!
