is not the age its the car. ex mustangs 50 and 60s forever a classic. mustang 80s and 90's never going to be a classic, new mustang probabley not since it is just a rip off the 50's and 60's model. i think you mean collectible, that happens when a car stops depreciating as it gets older and instead appreciates. that depends on the car

My car was a classic the day it was made. Chevy named it a Caprice Classic.

It is not about the age of car. It is about your thinking. One might think, it's two year oldie is a classic and there are certain people who think their sixty-year oldie is still young.
