06 Celica Vs. a 06 VW GTI? what would win?

according to www.Toyota.com there is no 2006 Celica. But, an '06 VW GTI would be faster 0-60 than any year stock '06 Celica. That new DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) in the new GTI is pretty slick and makes for a fast car.

There is no 06 Celica in the US, so the GTi would win.

I would rather put the 06 Civic Si vs. the GTi.
