In Stockton Ca. what is the going rate for a 2br 1 bath to be cleaned after move out?

Eight or nine years ago we finished our walkout basement. Recently the township assessor has asked to see the improvement and wants to re-establish our property value. We live in Michigan and have limits on taxable property increases.

Could we successfully challenge a related increase in our taxes?

My boyfriend and I want to get a house. I want modular so it can be designed the way we want, more energy efficient and less costly. Whereas he wants something that has been built by someone else. Who knows how many years ago it was built, he says it will last longer than a modular and be more sturdy. Normally moving into a house that someone else owned is gonna mean that things will have to be fixed, changed and more money will be spent remodeling etc. What do you guys think? Any experiences with modular homes? Any problems with them?

how can i get someone out? no lease or money was exchanged. she was in need of housing and i tried to help her. now its time for her to leave. how do i get her out legally?
i gave her until may 26 and she shows no signs of leaving. no job no money are her excuses. i am willing to buy her a storage unit so she can get out. please advise

Our lease is up in June she just moved in with me in March, Is it acceptable for me not to sign another lease with her at that time because I dont want to live with her anymore? Is it unacceptable to not live with her anymore because she just moved in with me in March? She's driving me crazy, I can deal with it until June without yelling/freaking out on her but no longer than that.

I am a Highschool student and for a research project I needed to calculate all the costs of buying a house. Could someone tell me, based on a $699,000 house, what the monthly payments would be for mortage, monthly taxes, monthly insurance, total utilities/phone, and housing for afore said budget. Answer as much as you possibly can; I'm absolutely lost on the afore mentioned subject. The rate for the mortage is 6.00%, and the insurance would be about $160, so don't worry about that. I have a 1994 mobile home on a big corner lot in PA. The mobile is anchored to a permanent cement slab and the axels and tires were pulled. There is now an addition so it looks more like modular, double wide,, not sure of the correct wording. The land and the home are both paid in full. My credit is fair. As soon as they hear "mobile" the conversation is over. Am i looking too the wrong lenders? Why will they not give me a loan and use my home as collateral? The property is worth about 78,000 and I only want to borrow 28,000. Banks will finance them when they are bought from dealers so why is this different? I really need to figure this out and find someone who can quote me terms w/o wasting each others time. The property is also paid in full. I have a land deed for that and a title for the mobile home. Can i change the title to a home deed? Good luck with this one,, I appreciate ur input.

Somebody told me that when you try to negotiate, since you have to disclose in advance that you are a agent or broker, the party you are trying to negotiate with automatically puts up a wall. And also, since there are lots of rules & regulations that an agent must follow, there are more chance of being sued or goto jail so have to be more careful.

His credit score is approx 550 and it showed that I dont have a credit score. His income is approx $3,000/mth and we are trying to get financing for a $45,000 house. He has a forclosure from approx 2yrs ago. and we dont have any debt ratio (car payment, credit cards, other loans, etc). Any help would be appreciated, thanks a bunch!!

My husband and I filed bankruptcy and it was discharged in March of 2006. Our mortgage has a 3 year adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) and 3 years will be up shortly. If I don't re-finance, my rate is going to go up 3%. It's already high enough! Any suggestions for a company that won't screw us around?

If I stay and have paid the full amount listed on my lease do I owe any more? In other words the total amount due for my lease example it says $7215 for the entire length of my lease if I can prove I have paid that amount I shouldn't owe any more right? Also if I file bankruptcy and claim the lease can I stay till Jan 2008? Thanks!!
