Our lease is up in June she just moved in with me in March, Is it acceptable for me not to sign another lease with her at that time because I dont want to live with her anymore? Is it unacceptable to not live with her anymore because she just moved in with me in March? She's driving me crazy, I can deal with it until June without yelling/freaking out on her but no longer than that.

Don't renew the lease, just rememer to give notice soon that you do not intend to renew the lease to the landlord. You'll have to move unless you're sly enough to get her to move out first and you keep the place to yourself. If you want to keep the place, explain to the landlord your situation and that you want to renew the lease on your own once your roomate has moved out. They should be more than happy to renew your lease under your name only.

When the lease is up, it's up. You have no legal obligations to sign another lease. You are free and clear at that time to find another residency, or to resign (at the landlord's discretion) and stay there.

As for the moral obligations, no one but yourself can answer that. Your roommate may be angry, but it is your life and ultimately you should do what you think is right. I would give your roommate as much forewarning as possible, though; just out of courtesy.

You need to give her written 30 days notice that you will not be re-newing your lease with her and will be vacating the residence. The reason if you lead her to think that she is still going to be on a lease with you and does not have time to find a room mate, she can sue you for damages.

you dont would desire to be afraid purely cos she is super. purely tell her the info. chores would desire to be shared. you have shown her info of her mess by applying not eating interior the previous week. if she wont do her share of artwork, then she has to get out. it has not something to do with whilst the lease is up. if the lease isn't due for the subsequent 10 years, then what? stay with a hog for something of the time? cmon, get with it!

Yeah you can try it. Just tell her you like her as a person and a friend, but not a roommate. If she isn't a friend of yours, then its not going to hurt you to lose her and there is nothing legally she can do, just go for it.

You must be on your way to sainthood. I couldn't have put up with it for more than a few days.

Just let her know in advance so that she can find a place.
