I work in a tiny office 9-6pm 5 days a week with a flourescent light with no filter on it, the bulb is about 8ft long and the office is about 10ft x 5 ft !!! this hurts my eyes and gives me a headache daily. I have complained and they say they will look into this. Now we've alll been told that we can only have a 20 min break a day ?? is this legal when we work a 9 hour day?

My wife needs a letter drafted to send to her prev Dr. stating that she had complications with her surgery & and now has sought another physician to correct the complications that arose & that there may be future litigation against him. The new Dr. won't do a fix it surgery without it. We don't blame him for wanting to cover himself. An aquaintance has a sister that's an attorney and she said $150 is her min charge that it would take less than 1/2 an hour. I am a contractor with very sporatic work and my wife can't work because of her botched up surgery. We don't have money to pay a lawyer anything and it has to be from some type of Lawyer or Paralegal Can someone help me draft this letter ?

I was told he knows about her sleeping but since they are REAL good friends she would never get in trouble and being that I am new and seeing this kinda behavior under his management ,there's a problem. And from what I hear she does this all the time. I was reading my employee handbook and it even states NO SLEEPING!!! And to make it worst I have proof-I took a picture using my camera phone. I would like to take it to someone but I feel that maybe I should cover myself first. According to the handbook it has a chain of command system well the first person would be my boss but he is already aware so should I go above him. Keep in mind they are REAL good friends's. Other people have saw her sleeping but since they know our boss and her are friends's they turn the other cheek well I'm new and barely know about their friendship and I feel that if the company is going to have rules EVERYONE needs to follow them and if not whenever I feel sleepy can I take a nap? What should I do next.

We have relocated to scotland from england, where I had a good job and a mother to help with childcare. I am now looking to work again but find that with childcare for 3 kids I will probably only end up earning about £10 a day after petrol, clothes food etc. Has anyone found anything they can do to make it worth while?

I am trying to get into the radiology program at my college, and so far it has been pretty challenging. I'm just wondering how well all of you radiologists like your jobs. Is it a fun job? Do you work good hours? Was it easy to find a job when you graduated? Do you feel that all of the schooling was worth it? I would appreciate any information. Thanks! :)

How difficult or easy is it to get nationally certified pharmacy tech license? Can you skip the states and go straight for the National or do you have to get the state one first, train for awhile and then do National? I live in Alabama. I don't know if it would be different in other states. I work at a retail drug pharmacy as a front end sales associate. I have been asked by people in the pharmacy to work with them as a pharmacy tech. If I can get nationally certified I might see what places pay the best , good hours, and over all atmosphere.

Or does the pharmacist do the hiring for his or her department. If so, does the store manager have to approve who works in the pharmcay dept?

The sales staff makes errors in data entry 5% of the time (entering payment type and amounts incorrectly). Should the admin department not say anything and edit these errors the next day (is that part of their job?) or should sales staff be held fully responsible for the errors?

I attended a job fair where the unit director (a large hospital) asked me to apply and allow her to look over my application. It wasn't actually an interview, we just got to talking at the job fair and she said she would be interested in having me. I have applied but have not heard back from her. It has been 4 days. Is it okay to call her? How long should I wait, and what should I say? I've never had to follow up with any job in the past, and this is new to me. Thank you all in advance.

I will be starting school in the next semester to become a funeral director. I would like to try and get a job with the medical examiner as an assistant or as a diener in a hospital morgue. I am currently working in a cemetery office. There are no positions open in the funeral home at this point. I'm looking for more experience than what I'm doing now-which is office work.

With the Office Administration Degree, I have the choice of being an Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant.... (Basically a professional Secretary) Is there any interest that the Peace Corps would have in me, because I haven't noticed this degree in any of their fields of interest.
Thanks for your answers. =]
