i have a good background, and i know i will pass, i got accepted for a job i applied for with pfizer

I would wait until all requirements for the position are filled, and you have a letter confirming your offer of employment in hand before you give your two week's notice. Congratulations, Pzifer is a great company! You just never know, however, until you have it in writing--and Pfizer is a company where the HR department is a real stickler for details.

If you think there might be anything at all like a speeding ticket or a credit account in collections then I would wait.

no, wait until you know for sure that you have the job. dont take for granted that you have a good background will necessarily get you the job. never quit a job until you are ready to start another.
