Getting a job can be difficult sometimes. I have had many jobs and sometimes I fall into the perfect job and sometimes it is a struggle.
So, this problem is true for everyone.
Soooo, what to do. Firstly, your resumes and application letters can be improved. I have had friends looking for work, and once I rewrite their resume, they start getting to interviews.
If you get interviews with an honest resume then, you should get a job eventually. But some people have very poor interview skills. 2 days ago I interviewed a person with a great resume but he basically failed every question in the interview and came off sounding like a complete ********. I am not recommending him for the job, despite the good resume (which I have no reason to believe is wrong)
So look at your interview skills as well.
If worse comes to worse, take a lower level job, but study at the same time. If you spend 6 months working at KFC you look like a loser. If you spend 6 months studying something (Eg management certificate, Microsoft Certified Engineer, Kung fu etc etc) while paying the bills by working at KFC, you look like a motivated guy.
Good luck, and don't give up.

Yeah, it's all a pain. After graduating last year I was looking and looking for a decent job.. I think I FINALLY just interviewed for it now (after throwing resumes out to HUNDREDS of places) while "settling" for cruddy jobs before actually getting an interview for this one.

That's why I got my CDL and took off down the highways! Jobs in my area don't pay well but driving pays the same no matter where I lived!
