I have seen their advert on MonsterJobs for homebased agents. I then saw another site where some people are unhappy about working for them?

http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/544004.html

Does anyone work for these guys or have you hear anything about them that may help with making the choice of working for them or not? thanks for your info.

My employer wants a medical report done on me to assess my fitness to work after I disclosed a short term 4-6weeks medical problem. I don't want them to have access to this. Would a drs sick note cover me? That way they will have a drs note saying I am fit to work but do I have to disclose on it what is wrong with me? Surely if my dr says I am fit to work it is my right to keep the reason personal????

Job vs. Career vs. fulltime student... big dilema and need a little advice!?

So I was recently offered a career in Life annuity and Insurance sales, at a pretty prominent company in my area, It goes along with my business major. I'm 20, and I'm in college, bored out of my mind with it, tired of being broke, and tired of being dependent so much on my parents, because no regular job seems to pay enough and give enough hours to allow me to do this. I can easily graduate in 2009 with no real work experience, hopefully making 35,000 a year. My parents are against me having a career right now because they think i'm really into school, but i'm not! I loathe it, and only continue to go so that they will support me until I can support myself, they just want me to work a regular job at the mall or something which I DON'T WANT! any real advice? Oh and I don't have the best grades, the are very mediocre!

I will be hitting 15 years soon, and even though I love what I do and plan on staying in to 25, I've been thinking about life after the Army.

So.. how's life when you get out?

And how is working in a civilian job? Thanks in advance for the replies.

I want to teach elementary school in the future and I need the money to pay for school and a place to live. I don't plan on stripping. Would I be unemployable at a school if they found out I was a strip club waitress?

I have been at my job for a little over a year. I work with this woman who has, from day one, dumped all the crap work that she doesn't want to do on me, eerything from stuffing envelopes to cleaning the kitchen - she even refuses to wash her own lunch dishes. She's very condescending to me about it. How do I: Get her to stop and if she doesn't stop, how do I keep from breaking her skinny freaking neck? I love my job, but I hate her, and it's causing me a lot of stress at work, because I try very hard to get along with her. Any ideas?

I have a six month contract position through a temp agency for a huge company. My position is supposed to be up in June but apparently they will most likely need me an additional three months at least, I have unofficially just found out. I have been given a lot more added duties and responsibilities. Do you think it is appropriate to ask for a raise or since it's a contracting position, I shouldn't push it?

I came across this website "crashcrate" some malarchy about you sign up for free and third parties ask you to test their products or something or go through surverys. If the possibility is real I would love to work from home, online. With flexibility. I'm not lazy, im pregnant with my future destined for the next few years to be a stay at home mum. I'm nervous about being a dependent because I was brought up to be independent and am surrounded by women who go straight back to work. Also I live in Europe, so it cant be an "only U.S" site.

My supervisor is out of the office this week on vacation and so the head boss is the hnic.

I just passed my 90 day mark, however, this lady gets on my last nerve and she is a freak about things. She is also never happy with anything you do.

When my boss is in he office, I can work peacefully, but my boss is looking for another job and is interviewing. She had a second interview right before her vacation which is a good sign she will decide to take the job if offered. I cannot work with the hnic if this happens, but I like working for the company.

Should I start looking? Or just stay there because I am now eligible for bennies.

The only people hiring right now anyways are staffing companies. (rolling eyes)

I applied at a famous coffee shop chain and never got a callback even though I meet all their known requirements.

A friend told me that their sign was just for show...

He told me that they put a "Now Hiring" sign in all their stores because it creates the illusion that they are a good business for your community because they bring jobs to the area... which is actually the opposite of the truth...

He explained that many small businesses are run out of town by the big chain and so there are less jobs...

Is this true?

Did I not get hired because there are actually no positions to be filled?

Or was it probably just a conspiracy theory?

I'm specifically interested in hearing from people who were part of medical research/drug studies and were paid for it.

I'm just wondering if there are any serious risks involved.
