Does anyone else feel like that rather be deceased than spend anymore time doing boring, horrible jobs for an eternity? What if it's not possible to ever find something that you would be happy diong (without getting really more in debt and losing more time on wasted education)? Seriously... can I be the only one who feels this desperate about it?

How do I deal with an irritating co-worker who is on the same level as you are that is trying to act like she is my new boss so that she can show our bosses that she's on top of everything. She has nothing but high school education and run's the administrative part of our company while i run another department. Lately she has nothing to do on her end as our company is not as big, and since she doesnt want to look like she's doing nothing she is constantly on my case asking me dumb questions such as have your replied so and so's email or have you sent such and such to so and so. I'm an educated individual with atleast two degrees and i am trying to be kind to my co-worker and patient in order to keep our relationship smooth but she is driving me nuts. I have made it a habbit to ignore the emails that are irritating e.g the one's asking me if i have replied so and so's email but she's not getting the hint and she's trying to boss me around. Help me!

I have an illness that requires 4-6 weeks of treatment (radiotherapy). My employers want a full report with illness details to ensure my fitness for work, I don't want them to have these personal details. If my Dr was to sign me off for the full duration would I still need this report?? They are paying me full pay for this period ....would it make the situation easier if I was just signed off for the whole treatment period?? Or will they still need to write to my Dr? I thought it was my right to be signed off sick by a medical professional without having to give details?? Basically can I be off with just a drs note without specific details if I'm not being assessed for fitness to work? Please help as I don't know where I stand. xx

The interviewer asked, 'in 60 seconds, list all the uses for a brick.' What is the purpose? Is it creativity, number of things, something else?

I'm losing my job on Friday. Basically, my boss doesn't believe I'm going a good enough job and so I've been replaced. In handling the paperwork, I've been given the option to "resign from my job" or "be dismissed from my job." Is there a difference in terms of my ability to file an unemployment insurance claim?? I'm in the state of California.
What are the advantages/disadvantages of claiming resignation or dismissal??

In other countries all people get the same kind of minimum salary as the wages are $/hr. Doesn't this help in equal distribution of money? Why don't we have such policy to reduce poverty? I feel bad that India is improving but everyone is not getting the benefits of the development. Can the ministers not work out something about it?

I work in a hospital. My coworker came over to my cubicle and farted yesterday, and the odor of it was extremely pungent. I had to stay late to work so I opened up his file drawer and urinated in it, as it was empty (I wouldn't have if it had important papers.) He complained about the smell and I guess there is a camera that caught me. Should I have really been fired? Anyone I can sue for discrimination so I can have my job and hopefully lots of money?

I have been off sick quite alot with minor ailments due to being very run down. It has all been genuine absence but my employer wasn't happy. I told them it was something more serious that would require a few weeks treatment so they would draw a line under it all and I would have chance to get well. Now they want to write to my consultant to get comfirmation of this but obviously they won't get it as I haven;t been totally honest. I am never dishonest but wanted them to think it was more serious that it is so I would have chance to get well again. What can I do? will a basic letter saying I am fit to work be enough or will they actually want a letter outlining exactly what is wrong?? I am seriously stressed so honest nice answers please...I am a single parent and don't want to lose my job. xx

I have 5 years back office, administration and research experience. I fancy a chnage in career and have seen an advertisment for a trainee recruitment consultant which asks 'preferbly for sales experience' Just want to find out what are my chances of getting an interview. I have a very strong educational background, and believe using my experience would do well in such a role.

Our team leader frequently sends out the same email multiple times, or sends an email about Project A when he really means Project B. This is frustrating our team and impacting our work. Shortly after the team members complained to our director about this, the team leader sent an email ABOUT me, but clearly intended for our director, to ME. He obviously hit Reply instead of Forward, since the original message content was from me. The question to the director was whether the team leader could require me to cc him on (what I consider) routine emails. Anyway, should I reply only to the sender notifying him of his embarrassing mistake, forward it to my director to back up my earlier complaint, or send to both?
