i'm assuming it is a sales position / customer service position at this perfume shop; the most important thing is customer service and attending to clients.

1. you can tell employer that are you interested in retail and you have been working with customers dealing with customer issues and feel that this daily face-2-face customer interaction has given you a wealth of customer service knowledge; problem solving knowledge, etc..

2. you want to put something here that does not exist at the perfume shop; because if you say, "i don't like rude customers"; it is obvious there will always be rude customers... maybe put something like, i don't like the hours; it is not flexible, etc???

3. the service part; assisting customers with questions, making people smile, enjoying repeat customers and building a bond/relationship with the client base...

good luck.

Don`t worry and be positive, you are the best person for this job!!!
1. I am applying for this position because I want to broaden my horizons within the sales market, and I have a love of perfumes resulting in a large personal collection (start by researching some soon if you don`t). I find working directly with the public both challenging and enjoyable, furthermore, I get great satisfaction knowing that I have provided a good service to my customers. I am both curteous and professional at all times, and have an ability to put customers at their ease. This is as a result of seven years experience working in a large supermarket serving customers direct.

2 and 3. Whilst I have enjoyed most aspects of my work for instance (put what you think), I have felt (again put what you think).

Thankyou for viewing my application, If you do consider me for the position, you will find me honest, professional and an asset to your company.

Hope this is of help, GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Ok...truly no one can tell you what to put because they are asking you how you personally feel about the job. For example, the first question asks why you are applying for this job. It could be because it makes you feel more femenine. No one would know this except for you. I don't know what your past record for working looks like either so I wouldn't know what qualities or experiences you have. You can tell them that you are very well versed in the ethics of customer service as you have to deal with customers one on one every day all day long. Tell them you have a personable disposition in regards to handling customers. As for 2 and 3, I do not know what you enjoyed or disliked about your job. Just be honest and be yourself...Good luck!

In reverse order:

3. I like the customer interaction--helping people get what they want

2. I hate the various situations where I am asked not to work with the customer

What qualities qualify you for the job? List the skills and experience they are looking for in the job ad that you have done and list it in the application.

Good luck!

If YOU don't know why you are applying for a job, or what you liked and didn't like about your current job, how on Earth would expect US to know?
