In other countries all people get the same kind of minimum salary as the wages are $/hr. Doesn't this help in equal distribution of money? Why don't we have such policy to reduce poverty? I feel bad that India is improving but everyone is not getting the benefits of the development. Can the ministers not work out something about it?

Yes, we need to set minimum wages.
But the issue is there is so much competition some poor people will also agree to work just for food and shelter.
We are living in a land where poor people have too many children, they are willing to sell their children, kill them...... so setting minimum wages will not help at all
To reach a stage like this:
-Govt should offer other benefits to the poor masses like:
-Free living quarters
-Health care
-Education
-Some form of retirement insurance / security
Thus making them increase their own self respect / self esteem and self confidence. When someone gets all this benefits... then do you think they will work for low salary and be willing to be illtreated?
Look at the situation in Kerala.. Keralites are so wealthy, that they will not do manual labor at all.. laborers from TN and Andhra go for work
This is an intrinsic web of issues. We just cant seek to solve one issue... all issues should be solved at the same time
-Reduce population
-Educating the masses
-Better water and sewage faciltiies
-Urban slum issues
-Most of all corrupt free politicians

Even in India, some professionals and other service providers has started charging on hourly basis but there count is very low. Very rarely work force here is in commanding position. On the positive side, perhaps, this is one major reason why Indian work force is in demand because of their low wages - high calibre match.

Compulsory school education should be must for
all Indians.Parents not send his/her children to
school,cut all govt facilities.I heard one News,some countries stopped all govt benifits if above one children.So Effective school Education
gives automatically in all.Govt should think in this
matter.
