No. It can go away any day with the CEO's stroke of a pen.. That's why it's a good idea to have more than one source of income and invest your money wisely. People need to wake up and start getting financially literate.. this is not their parent's world anymore (where there used to be pensions and job security). With globalization and information technology, jobs are going abroad where it's cheaper.

There is no security working in a cubicle farm. In todays world you need to make your own security by owning your business and saving every dime you can.

I don't really believe there is such a thing as job security in todays world, but there may be job probability.
