Well, recently one of my client (a big retailer) approached me for a new position in their team. At the sametime, I m applying another job that I really want, but that one the chance is not as high as the first one, cuz it is open to everybody. I m thinking if i should just accept the former one first and still go for interview of the second one. Pay maybe similar, but the later one can give me a better title. Both co are big, first one is a very established team, the second one is kind of like newly created position, mean this will be a very harsh job. If I accept the first one but later one turn it down for another job, is it no good? cuz that client I have known for some time and their name is big in the field i m working. what should i do?

My boss is a nice lady. She does her work well. I cant help noticing the way she talks to me. The words she uses and the body languages. She makes me feel depressed and angry at myself. I don't smile that much anymore. Plus, she also never ever recognizes my hard work. Why can't she give me an occasional thank you? Is that too much to ask? Why can’t she just tell me when I do a good job? How can I feel some love?

How hard is to get into the University of San Francisco MBA Program? I am about a year and half out of college, have good work expierence, descent grades, letters or rec, just havent taken the GMAT yet. I would like to go this fall. Is it a good program? Worth the the time and money? I have around a 3.0 GPA plus letters or recomendation, and good work expierence in the financial services industry, about a year and half. Will I get in?

A friend of mine is a property mgr for a dorm hall for Juniors & Seniors only. The pay is only 25k a year and free rent, all utilities paid.
Presently I work for a worldwide shipping company (huge) and I currently make about 40k plus a lot of benefits, free gym, paid tuition, etc. I am still working on getting my BA in Bussiness Admin and I still dont know what I want to do in my career/life.
Which should I take?

My partner doesn't like his job. He doesn't like any desk-bound job, yet doesn't have the qualifications nor the money to pursue the job of his dreams. He is often times depressed because of this, and currently seeing a therapist. I try to suggest several solutions here and then, but they don't seem to be favored by him, as each of us brings in about 50% of the total household income. I feel stuck and don't know what else to suggest. I love him and he supports me, emotionally, a lot! I wish I can do something to help him out ... if you are/have been in a similar situation and have some solid advice to offer, then I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!

I have bachelor's in History and a Master's in Secondary Education. I have taught for the last five years, but my position has been cut from next year's budget, which means I'm out of a job. Since I'm now looking for another job, I'm also exploring my options also....

Is there anything out there that pays better than what I'm doing now? I have a wife and 2 kids to feed, and teaching isn't really bringing home as much money as I would like. Any suggestions?
