At minimum wage? with rents and utilities so high.. it would be very difficult. You would be living a very meek life for sure.

It used to be that min wage jobs would still allow a person to obtain some assistence in the way of food stamps. The government changed that by upping the min wage... Which helps the taxpayers.... but puts more of a hardship on the poor...

Another reason kids don't leave home at age 18 anymore...

Depends on your definition of "support".

If you're working minimum wage, it's pretty hard to afford a 1-bedroom apartment.

I do it, but it depends on how much you make and what the cost of living is in your area!

depending on the pay u receive.. i support myself with just 40hrs.. i dont even get over time..so its possible..
