I was wondering if anyone has had any well paying jobs while attending university/college/school full time. And please don't say waitressing or bartending i have done both for about 3 years and i don't want to ever work in that industry again haha. Thanks for your answers!

I worked part time on campus and got what was pretty good money for a student. Unfortunately this meant with school full-time and work 20+ hours a week I didn't have time for internships or anything. It ended up making my degree almost completely useless and the only thing I had when I graduated was the years of experience in this student job. That got me a job afterwards, but not one with a salary matching my degree. Now I go to school part-time and work full time. I'd say if you don't have to work, or have some options, get a job related to your degree. Only the very highly sought after degrees will appreciate you having some kind of general experience while in college.

Try something related to your major and or jobs in industries you're interested in. If you cant' find a related job, that's a really bad sign your major wont have a job upon graduation. This is also a good plan for netowrking to find work after you do graduate. Plus you see how much you like a job before you spend all that time and money going to school.

mostly attending university and earning money don't go together

its a time to LEARN SKILLS so that you can find something you ENJOY doing, then you if you are lucky and smart you get paid to do that AFTER you graduate

best to just borrow as much as you need while in school, if you have to work, maybe do Summers, be a lifeguard or something, something fun, maybe work at the school 10 hours a week at a sports desk or the library if you must.

Try something related to your major. Maybe you can find a job on campus in the work-study program. This will help you later when you look for a job, because you'll have experience to back up your learning.

Become a waitress in a ***Nice*** place. It is fun work and tips are usually much more than minimum wage... Other than week ends your hours could be flexible...

The dining rooms in a Holiday Inn, Ramada or Hyatt are good places to work... will train and tips are usually above average for the area.

SEW GOOD LUCK

Starbucks Coffee is constantly rated one of the best employers in the US. They give even part-timers full medical coverage and profit sharing. My brother in law has kept a part-time job there for years along with a full-time job.
