How would I start an introduction off for an interview paper with an elderly person?

Note: I am assuming that you have already done the interview and are now planning on writing the paper.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Mr. or Mrs. So and So last Friday, the 23 of March. Mr. So and So is retired from such & such and lives at the Old Fogey Nursing home.

I would start off by telling her or him how much you loved and respected your grandparents and valued their wisdom.Elderly people have so much wisdom but most of us are too busy to listen.Thank them for the opportunity and tell them it would be an honor to work for them.I hope this hepls.RON W,PASADENA,TX
