but i dont know what to go for! I want something simple, that I enjoy. I want a job one day where I do something like typing.. what are some career choices for me?

You could be a court reporter (stenographer) and type up different cases. You could also look into being a secretary but there's more involved than just typing. Another typing job is a transcriber, which is where you take dictation tapes and type them up. Without knowing what else you enjoy, it's hard to make further suggestions. You might talk to your guidance counselor for help. Good luck.

How about a paralegal? You will definitely be doing lots of typing. You will also have to deal with lots of problems - divorce clients, child custody, abuse & neglect, criminals, worker's comp etc. but there are also law firms that specialize in real estate, estate work and corporate law.

Don't worry about that, your first two years are mainly about taking those intro classes that have nothing to do with your major. Most students do not know what they want to major in. Just start college and see what classes you like.

I would recommend a degree in Business Administration. This degree will cover a variety of job opportunities.

I would say go in as undeclared as u will be taking required courses for any major. then once u get rolling u may find interests in a certain field of study. best of luck to u
