It really depends on what agency she/he's with, what companies you're working for, and all that.

Probably not alot, unless they decide you've got that "star quality".

It depends upon what type of model you are talking about.

If you are modeling clothes at a department store or exclusive clothing store you are paid on an hourly basis, the pay is pretty good but you don't work a lot of hours.

If you are a model for photos to promote a product, you generally get paid by the job and it varies with your experience and how much the advertiser wants to spend.

If you are modeling nude for an art class, the pay is fairly low but the work is pretty steady.

All in all starting out you are not looking at a very high paying career. After you get some experience and a few lucky breaks you can expect to get paid pretty well. The worst problem is that the time frame for modeling is not very long. Usually by the time models reach their early 30s they are no longer in demand.
