What should I write for an Introduction?

i received a job offer to work in Canada for a supporting healthcare position. the salary was really off the chart -- more than 3x the industry average (i checked payscale) and the vacation was 2months per year full paid. to tell you what, the salary was even better than a doctor's salary abroad. it just really is mind-boggling for a starting job position!!
im not complaining though --- but it does look good to be true.. anyway. im going to take my chances since the company will pay my ticket, visa fee and others plus accomodation.. what do you think?

but i have to pay the immigration attorney US$700 though..

Every job i have ever gotten within a few months i get very bored of and hate going to so i started thinking of jobs that would interest me based upon change

i came to the conclusion i should probabally get a job in the field of firefighting or police work or even military, but then i think about it and im a real "panzy" and that type of work would probabally scare the crap out of me... any ideas for a job that is always changing and pays decent? i am 21 years of age and go to college, and i would like to settle down with the woman of my dreams (this is all stuff that i need to keep in mind when picking my job)

Hi all

I started working as a telller 6 months ago when i moved out froms San Francisco to a smaller area in the central coast.

I took this job because it was the only available at the time although i really wanted to start at a personal banker position.

Now that such position is available, im running into the whole your just a teller thing...

I truly think that CSR positions such as a teller position really open up your eyes to the banking industry and should give you a perfect head start against any new comer to the banking world.

Now i cant get a banker position because I have prior experience as a teller?

What is this?

please let me know if i am way out of line here.

thanks

Last wed I Deciced not to go back to work. I had the job for about 6 mos working 28 hours a week and was Junior Processor (mortgage corp). My job was stressing my out. I am a FT college student. I was paid 7 an hour and I started at 6. I did so much and I felt used I couldn’t take it anymore. I wasn’t even treated like a real employee. I was paid under min. wage (off the books). I am a very hard worker and when I asked for a raise and the broker said she didn’t feel I deserved one and she made a rude comment on why my parents didn't help me if I was in need of money. She also commented that my summer trip was not convenient for her even thought it was w/o pay. On Tuesday night the secretary was blow9never late)ing up my cell phone to tell me to be in at nine when that is the time I go in every day this was the last straw I couldn’t take it. It was an invasion of my time they have my school schedule. Do you think I was wrong by leaving this pathetic job w/o notice???

If you have passion to be an investment adviser but have to go through 2 years training as a teller, and you hate the kinds of customer service as a teller...watching long lineup, dealing with meant customers and etc, which stress you out. On the other hand, you also love to cook and can be a chef, but need a year or so to go to culinary school, and understand you're gonna deal with yelling and screaming and a different group of people in the kitchen, mild allergy with lobster and shrimp. However, you maybe able to have your own business( restaurant or bakery shop, food chain and etc), which is something you enjoy and you are good at as an entrepreneur. Now, you are over 30's. Which career could you choose? Serious answer will be appreciated. Thanks

I have written a book entitled School Leavers Job Guide, and as it suggests, it is a self-help guide for young adults in helping them with tips and advice on finding employment.

The book itself has worked for four of my friends children who have followed the instructions therein and obtained for themselves some pretty good jobs.

Could you please tell me how I would go about getting this book into schools so as the school leavers themselves see it and receive a copy?

I understand that a MBA is important, and many say applicable even nessisary for advancement in some companies.

What about a PHD in a finance or business field?
Do people pursue careers beyond the college professor role?

I enjoy my teaching career, but I do not see myself teaching for the rest of my life. I think that a MBA would be nice to fall back on , if i get burned out. I would like to go back to school before I am get too old or havve children. I know that money will always be a factor, but I do not know if it is worth. How hard will it be to get a job? What is the pay? What should I do?

I graduated last year from Loyola University with a BA in English. My initial intent was to become a teacher, but now I don't think that's the path for me.

I have 5 years of non-agency proofreading experience. It was more of a hobby used to help classmates and other people I knew.

Also, I have 3 years of experience working as a youth tutor, but that was a work study job that ended when I graduated.

I do have a few years of experience working as an office assistant, but I really do not enjoy answering phones. I can type +60 wpm and I have advanced knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and html.

However, I've been completely unable to find a job. I've tried the education field (but I don't have any child development hours so I get turned down). I've also tried libraries, office work, and proofreading (my passion), but I have no luck.

Are there any fields I haven't thought of for my skills and education? I guess I'm looking for some ideas or just moral support.
