What should I write for an Introduction?

I have the main part and the conclusion I'm just confused on the introduction!

Compare and Contrast! The key to A-papers. Half the intro is how the two are alike, half is how they are different. And the clincher is your opinion on whether it is the similarities or differences that make one a better story, or both examples of a particular literary style or time, or that have a similar message....along these lines.

The intro is always the hardest bit to write, a good trick is to leave it to the end. Write the rest of the essay first, then the concluding paragraph, then you're more likely to know what you want to say in the introduction.
