I'm leaving in 6 weeks and feel very apathetic! How can I stay motivated when I know I'm leaving? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

(1) Make a list of everything that you want to achieve in the next 6 weeks and set about making it happen

(2) Make peace with everyone that you didn't get on with at work.

(3) Make a good job of it and get a good reference

(4) Think that this time next year you'll be looking back on this and laughing about it

(5) SMILE ;)

(6) Make a good job of it and they'll have you back again.

Try to work to your best level. You may need a good reference from them in the future, so you don't want to tarnish it by appearing lazy in the last few weeks.

Plus, I really hope not, but you may end up hating your new job and may need to go back to this one, so it's best to keep it all sweet.

what parts of the job do you like? Can you manipulate it so you do more of those things?
Also how about some self-development, can you fit in any training in your last few weeks?
What are you doing next? Can you start researching that or doing some work in advance?

Work is something overrated. That's why the upper classes never used to do it. They know that there are better things to do. Just hang in there. Do what you have been paid to do, and soon the release will come.

try to be relational for the last few weeks of your stay. appreciate those who were kind to you. reach out to those whom you can't understand. in this way you will be exiting gracefully and you will be leaving a good memory for yourself and others who work with you. :)
