This writer, though not a qualified Ph.D, has been engaging in freelance TECHNOLOGY AND PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENTS in POLYMER COMPOSITES and related subjects for well over 15 years now. Some of the products which have been brought to Bench-level technologies are:

# Wood Substitutes using Agrowastes and Wood Wastes
# Fire Retardant Composite Formulations using Agrowastes and Glass/ Basalt Fibers
# Metal Replacement Auto Body Skins in Hybrid Agro-Fiber/ Glass Fiber Composites (An appropriate system for The TATA small car!)
# Specialty Adhesives and Coating Formulations
.....and many more

It is strange that, in spite of high relevance to these products to create PRODUCTIVITY, EFFICIENCY and PROFITABILITY in our High-cost economy (and even to reduce the GREENHOUSE effect, in the long run), this writer is finding GREAT DIFFICULTIES IN GETTING APPROPRIATE SPONSORSHIP.

Thus, although this writer does not wish to discourage the enthusiastic questioner, it is opined that APPROPRIATE POLYMER TECHNOLOGY/ POLYMER ENGINEERING professional works are hard to come by in India, although it should be recognized that INDIA NOW NEEDS GREATER POLYMER COMPOSITE DEVELOPMENTS TO ECONOMIZE THE COSTS AND ENERGY NEEDS OF ENGINEERING MATERIALS.

Many youngsters and Knowledgeable Technologists would have to struggle and sacrifice much more before we arrive at appropriate levels in these.
