Im applying for a job as a customer service assistant on the london underground, this is one of the questions.

You like to be busy, you like every day to have different challenges, you want to change people's perceptions of poor service on the underground, you remember having received good service yourself in the past and it stayed with you so you'd like to offer it yourself, you like dealing with different types of people, you don't want to be tied to an office, you like the flexible working hours etc etc - it's really not difficult to give them the sort of bulls**t they want !

Do you like working with the public? Solving problems for people? Making a difference in someone's day?
Do you want to work with a well-known company? (I mean, the Underground is known around the world.) Do you want the opportunities that this could open up for you?
What are YOUR reasons for being interested?
If you say "I need a job" or "I need money" save yourself the time and throw out your application now.

Well only you know what appeals to you about it! You could say it's working as a team, that you enjoy the buzz of a busy workplace, that you enjoy meeting people. And that you like tube trains.

I would answer it like this....
I have absolutely no interest in helping passengers/customer or giving them any kind of service, which means I will fit in very well.
