14 year olds are probably one of the most desperate teens to find work because they need to be 15 to get a job permit. I have a job as a soccer referee, but that is only for weekends. I am home schooled and have plenty of time for a weekday job but i can only find summer jobs or babysitting. Any other ideas?

I currently work for a senior care center..where i go to the seniors house and be with them all day. i have been with the same 93 year old women since the beginning of Jan. She was really nice at first but i hate coming here in the mornings. I come from 8-4 everyday. The pay sucks and i want to look for a new job right away. Should i tell my boss that Its not working out with us and I want another senior to work with or what.... I was suppose to be done working with her at the end of the month but she requested me to stay part time with her.

I dropped out of high school at 16. I later received my G.E.D.

I am 22 years old and make an annual salary of 65k. I also get a benefit package valued at about 5-7K on top of my salary.

I am an internet marketer for a large B2B company.

Am I in a truely unique situation with the combination of my age, income, and education?

I am 25 years old and have decided that I want to become a doctor but I am kind of in a bad situation. For the past 7 years I have gone to college on and off, but never really picked any particular major. I have horrible job history (a lot of travelling, e.g. job switching). I have horrendous credit history ( a lot of bad investments, e.g. business ventures). I never really figured out what I wanted to do with my life, but now that I have figured it out, I don't know what to do...help? Any med students or doctors out there with any advice? Also, I have very little money...but that is probably already obvious...

I'm an accounting major and would love to work from home. I know it can't be 100% of the time, but....

If you're an accountant, let me know how many days (or hours) per week your boss allows you to work from home (even if it is zero)!

Thank you!

I'm 1st year college student studying towards my EMT certificate. However, I have somewhat of an idea of what to expect, I was just hoping that I could get more information as to what goes on daily. You know, the norms. Also, how much would I get paid because I've been on several sites and I dont have a clear answer. Can any paramedics help me out a little bit?

What are some pros and cons. I just need something to make a little extra money, and I like office work. How often do you get work. I don't really know that much about it. It was just an idea.

Some background: The company my wife works for is a sub-prime lender that declared backruptcy last week. They let
some people go without notice and are facing a class action lawsuit. My wife is still currently employed. Last week she received a formal company letter giving them 60 days notice, a warn act, that they will be out of a job. Now the company's lawyer is claiming that although they provided the warn act, the company could let them go at anytime and not pay them. It seems that the warn act is useless if the company does not honor the 60 days notice. Please advise.
Thank you for your time and assistance in this matter.

I have been at the same workplace for over 6 years. I am nervous to leave for a new position, although it would be better for me to work closer to home (recently started evening classes). What is a tasteful way to leave a job you've had for a long time - and how can I stop being so darn nervous about it?!
Also, should I give my leave before I find a new job (if I'm actively searching) or should I wait til I get a new job, and hope they can wait the two weeks for me to finish out my old job?

Do you like it?
Do you hate it? *why?*
does your job have any interesting perks?

let your personality show through.

I've just had an opportunity handed to me and I'm not quite sure what I should do. My best friend works at a dealership in the next town and she offered me a job working for her in accounting. Everything seems to be great about it... It's WAY closer to home than my current job, it will almost double my salary and include benifits, it's something that I would enjoy doing much more than property management, and with the pay increase, I could afford college and could actually get my degree, not to mention I wouldn't have to talk to any customers. The delema I'm having is leaving my current job. I love the people I work with. They are the only reason I'm still working here. I feel a loyalty to them and don't want to leave them stranded. I know that they would be able to fill my position, but it wouldn't be easy to find someone to do everything I do for the pay I receive. I would feel terrible if I left them hanging.

Today, someone asked me "Why I wanted to become Child Care Mangement?"

To be honest, I want to become child care mangement for the money. Also, if I have a child, I want to be there in the child care place watching him or her.

Is that a good thing to say when someone is intereviewing you? What should I say?
