By far, the best way is to tell people you know and ask them if they know of any job openings. The best jobs out there are usually gotten through friends and family.

Get your resume on all the big internet job boards etc.
Ask your friends if their job is hiring.
If you know of a place you want to work, find out who the HR manager is and send your resume to them.
If you don't have a professional resume I suggest you pay someone to write one for you, works wonders.
