How do I get into advertising copywriting or a profession of a similar mold?

I have a good degree in English Studies (including a dissertation-level creative writing portfolio), a Trinity College London certificate in TESOL, 'A' level English, two other 'A' level qualifications, 11 GCSEs at grade C and above, and I like creative writing a LOT.

But how do I get into work as an advertising copywriter? From what I have researched, the job sounds ideal for me. I have no problem with the prospect of low or unpaid internships if it leads to a decent job in the field, but how on earth do I get in there?

Throughout my life, I have been told by others that I am attractive on a regular basis- without even bringing up the subject of looks at all. I am not vain or conceited, but 9 different people just this week have told me that I am beautiful- including kids at school that I don't know, salespeople, and old people in restaurants. I am thinking of possibly going into modeling when I am in college to make some extra money- but I have no idea where to start! What do I do?

I am having a hard time making a choice between the two (I know most people would choose a completely different path). I like the idea of working for a Big four audit firm and later making a transition to industry later to become a Controller or what not. I also like the consulting opportunities that a tax based career could offer.

I need to make a decision in my schooling this month and could use some good advice from people who have been there.

I am 24 a year out of college and worth about 150k. Is this a lot of money for someone my age? I am fairly conservative with my spending and want to wealthy. I know kids my age who are spending lots on fancy designer cloths, a car and stupid things. Are they making a lot of money or just getting deeper into the rate race?

I'll be travelling there in a month to stay for the summer. I just wanted to get an idea what I should look for when I start looking for work. I only plan to work 2 or 3 of the months I'm there. Spanish is my first language but it's rusty because I don't practise it much when I can. I plan to take Spanish courses the first month or two and then work the rest of the time.

I saw something like this on Lou Dobbs weeks ago, and unfortunately I missed it.
