I have my BA in Psych and have about 10 years of management/banking experience but I want to change careers. I am moving to Oregon and want to know what the first steps are in becoming a teacher when you already have an undergrad degree, even if it's not in education..

I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and Master's in Management. I live in a small town and can't find a job that would make anything over $35k a year. I look young and don't have a whole lot of experience behind me yet. Regardless, I need to feel more financially stable and some additional help in paying off the school loans. Does anyone have any suggestions to help boost my job prospects....even if it consists of moving....where and what can I get that pays well?

For one reason or another I haven't really been able to prove my worth in the post I occupy now and this I believe disadvantages me.

If I am going to get this job I am really going to have to shine in the application and the interview.

I would appreciate your suggestions.

I'm not pushy. I'm very knowledgeable about the products and hope to give people confidence that hey will want to buy rather than my having to give a hard sell.

My business is very slow and not showing future promise. However, I have commitments that take me through 2008 so I can't just go get a job. Plus, I want to stay self-employed. Any suggestions for something to supplement my income?

I'm pretty sure my boss is sexually harassing me. He talks to me in a very unprofessional manner all the time, as in saying stuff about my chest and asking me about my sex life and talking about his. I don't respond to his questions, of course..it makes me very uncomfortable that he talks like that in front of me. I usually just walk away and i'm pretty sure I get red in the face because I don't know how to respond to it. Lately, he's been degrading me in other ways, too. I was supposed to get a promotion and he turned it down and i'm pretty sure it's because I don't play his little games. What I want to know is how to deal with this sort of situation. I'm tired of going to work and feeling so uncomfortable. What can you do to take care of a problem like this and still have your job?

My boss made a sexual dergatory remark to me a couple of weeks ago and I am not sure how to handle it. His remark was "youre getting married, moving away and I haven't even gone to bed with you yet".

I met a girl about 10 years ago in High School. I've been in love with this girl for a long time but I havent been able to get to know her at all and I recently contacted her by email.

Everytime I email her she is very short in her replies and I dont want to scare her away or make it feel uncomfortable since she said to my invitation to meet somewhere with "I dont think is a good idea for us to meet but you can write me every once in a while".

She is not married and apparentely she is not dating anyone but she is Jewish and I dont know if that is the source of her rejection.

Any suggestions on how to approach this situation so that I can be friends with her?

My husband is in the US Navy and due to this we have moved around all over the country. I have not been able to keep a steady job and I am starting to notice employers really question me hard about not keeping a job. Even though it's due to military moves. Do employers sympathize with these kind of situations or because of it over look me?
