Can someone tell me advantages of majoring in computer science rather than minor?

Making a huge salary is the #1 advantage that comes to my mind. Your degree with certifications (like MCSE & A+) you can write your own ticket.

Can't really answer the question w/o knowing what you would major in if you chose CS as a minor. CS compliments many majors, but you need to be more specific.
