I am about to graduate from college and was wondering if my Eagle Scout is going to help out with the jobsearch.

I've been a Scouter for over 12 years. Yes, it helps. When an employer sees that you made Eagle, they know you have drive, ambition and that you know how to give back to the community. It also shows them that you are a leader, a thinker and a planner.

I'm not an Eagle Scout(after all, I'm female)but as an adult and an employer, I can tell you, it helps!

Good luck in whatever you do!

Yes, it helps. Every employer I've had highlights that in the interview. It does show the drive and ambition from you. Eagle is not an easy task, and it shows you are not a quitter. You set your mind and achieved it. I am an Eagle scout, and I congratulate you!

I got mine in 1975, and I still use it on resumes, and it still elicits positive comments.
