I'll be travelling there in a month to stay for the summer. I just wanted to get an idea what I should look for when I start looking for work. I only plan to work 2 or 3 of the months I'm there. Spanish is my first language but it's rusty because I don't practise it much when I can. I plan to take Spanish courses the first month or two and then work the rest of the time.

Thanks
Daniel

I'm a Canadian. I'm half Spanish and was a Spanish citizen but lost it a couple years ago. I was supposed to renew it when I was 21, but wasn't informed to by the Spanish gov't. I hear that Canadians and Americans can find work at bars/restaurants and paid cash.

Well...I'm not from or ever have gone to Barcelona but maybe you could work at a resturant not like a Mcdonalds place but like a place were there is no drive thru and you could be a weighter...or you could work at a bar...but this is only if you have good ppl skills...best of luck!

why not work for AL-QUEDA? they have plenty of jobs as terrorists that pay real well.
