Actually, when I was that age I got a couple of different jobs from just going around to retail businesses and asking. I worked at a Beauty Parlor for a few weeks cleaning. I also worked at a Candy Store doing misc. things. Many people will be impressed by your ambition to work and will be willing to pay you nominally for help. Be willing to do menial work, don't be proud. Make sure you let them know your parents approve and permit it. Work hard and you'll do fine.

Most legitimate business will require a permit... those who don't aren't following the law and will probably pay you under the table (meaning you don't claim the income or file a tax return). I would suggest babysitting, dog walking or sitting, cleaning homes or yardwork.
