I ask this question because I am living in Michigan and the economy is extremely bad here, the cost of living is outrageous, and car insurance is at an all time high. I can't really afford to live here. Its very stressful. I want to move to another state, but I don't have any friends or family anywhere else but Michigan. And I'm afraid to move someplace where I don't know anyone and will be all alone, but I don't want to live in a place where I am going to continue to have to struggle to make a living either. Can someone please give me some advice on what I should do?

I have changed specialties, hospitals, and locations. I am just burned out. Is there other careers I can go into that could use my degree, or another field I can go back to school for and change careers in a matter of just a few classes?

My employer started reducing my hours at the end of January, of which I was notified. Since then my hours have gone from 36 hours a week to 6 hours a week without any sort of notice at all. I can go in one day and be told, "you've been cut this day, or you've been cut these hours." The reason for the cuts is because I work for a doctor's office we went electronic so there isn't a lot of work for me to do. She seems to be slowly laying me off preventing me from getting any viable unemployment compensation....is there a way to get unemployment based on pay from before the cuts if I send in 2 months of stubs? Is it legal for her to keep cutting my hours this way until (ultimatly I'm sure) laying me off? I live in Massachusetts if that helps any. I am actively looking for a job, and have been since the cuts started, but nothing seems to be working out....can she do this to me?

I really need some to advice. I Left my job today, with intentions of handing in my resignation in the morning. I am a (new) certified nurse assistant. I have only been working for 3 weeks. Where I work, each CNA has at least 10 patients to take care of. We have to bath, shower, feed, change diapers (as most are total care). Most patients have had strokes, paralyzed, alzheimers or have chronic illness. I have no problem doing what's asked of me. I am a caring person. But, from the minute you start the shift, you are literally running, sweating. Most days you do not get to take a lunch or your moring and afternoon 15 minute break. I'm new to the field, but, I have been treated by everyone as if I am not fast enough. I'm not lazy person, I am not even making $10 an hour. Plus, you don't know what your schedule will be, and you are scheduled to work weekends . Does it sound unreasonable of me to want to quit?

One of consultant called me and left me this
Are you planning on relocating to ohio in the near future? If so, I would like to schedule an
interview with you as soon as you're available.

Should i ask if the company can set up phone interview and if it goes well i can come there in person.
At this time should I ask for travel expense and relocation or wait.
