Yes, call her and keep your name and face fresh in her mind. Sometimes they like to make you wait it out in order to gain an advantage if there are negotiations or to raise their expectations of you. Show them that you are assertive and professional with a phonecall.

You should call her a couple of days after the interview. That shows an employer that you are interested in the position. I would still continue to look for employment elcewhere just incase you dont get that job.

Why? Do you have questions? I would send a letter or email thanking her for taking the time to interview you and make sure you include your phone number so she can get a hold of you if she decides to hire you. I would also continue my job search till I hear back from her.

Immediately send a thank-you note or e-mail! Then call her in one week if you haven't heard. Follow-up calling is the hardest to do, but just say "Hi, this is John Smith. I interviewed with you last week for the manager position, and I was just calling to touch base with you . . ." usually you won't even get to say all that before they give you an update. (Still looking, come for another interview, etc.)

If the employer opened the door for a phone call, you should call, however, you should ALWAYS continue your search until you have an offer on the table.
