My supervisor gave me a negative 90 day eval. that was incorrect, the next day she called me to her office and told me I do a phenomenol {her word} job and the only reason she did this is because her boss wants to give my job to a friend of hers. She also gave me a letter of recommendation if I needed it for job hunting. She did not fire me but this is all lies and due to self respect..I know I cannot work there

Hey there,I'm a sophmore in highschool, and I've been wanting to be a pediatrician for a long time now and I've got my mind set on that, but if I change that,I wanna be a physician, any other type of physician.but mainly I would like to be a pediatrician because I LOVE kids and so on.I was wondering if anyone can give me some sightful tips on becoming a pediatrician, like what to accomplish in high school and what classes are good to take and such.currently my classes this term (my school has two terms a year, four classes one term/half the year and four classes the other term/the other half the year-basically block schedule, and 8 classes total in the year) are:
english honors 2
spanish 4
world history
aerobics

and next term (term starts in Jan. after Christmas break)
I have:
spanish 5
chemistry
advanced algebra
speech

any tips please would be greatly appreciated? and is it good to go to a junior college first after high school or go straight to a university? difference plz?

I just ask a questions earlier about a new employee who is asking me for my w2 form. After almost ten years working for this company I was downsized and receive a pretty good severance package. I just received an offer to work for this firm and in the welcoming package they requested w2 form for 2004 and 2005. I was downsized in january 2006. The salary I put on the job application is actually the compensation I got when I left. Should I be worried, since I never really gave them a salary history. I just wrote on the application 1997 to 2006 and a total salary and bonus number. Also should I send them my w2 form? Why do they need it?

I started this job last week, about a week and a half ago. It is nothing like it was described to be, a lot of menial tasks and heavy lifting and cashier work when I was hired as a designer (I have a degree in art). Also, I really can't stand one of my co workers who is abusive and rude.

So I am applying for this other job and I am wondering:

1. will 2nd new job (if I get it) think it a negative thing that I only last a week or two at first job? (better to realize it now than after a year, right?)

2. Do I need to even mention it if they don't ask (not to lie but just don't explain it if not asked)

I was in an interview today, and the interviewer asked me to tell him about some times that I was in a competition or in a competitive environment. I couldn't think of anything to list since I wasn't into sports as a kid.

What are some common types of competition that people are involved in that I can tell the interviewer about?

PS: I'm not planning to lie about my background. I'm trying to spark memories of competition that I was involved in.

Hi, I'm a nanny for a 3month old baby girl, in the state of MA. I don't have lots of experience with newborns, but am handling the job perfectly. The beggining was hard, but the baby and I are getting along pretty well. Here's the thing, I work about 10 and half hours every day, M-F, and I have to do housekeeping too, (big house). I'm making around 450 a week, does that seem fair?

Hi Guys!!

I had a 2nd interview yesterday with a prospective employer. The 1st interview went great: the company is owned by a family, I was interviewed by the daughter. She introduced me to her father who owns the company & told him she wanted him to put a face with my name because she thought I was great for the position. She told me even before I left that she'd call me later in the week for a 2nd. I had the 2nd interview yesterday with her father (the owner) & it went very well also. I was 1 of 4 who were called in. He said at the end of the interview that I fit almost all of the qualities they were looking for concerning the position & he "didn't want to make a commitment yet, but...". I'm taking that as a good thing. He said he would call today either way. It's 3:15pm and they close at 5pm, I haven't heard anything as-of-yet so I'm guessing they will call around 5pm. What do you think are the chances of me getting offered the position? They checked my references too. Thanks!

I am currently going to be let go of at the end of the year. I have been told in advance and yada yada. However, I am trying to make the best out of a bad situation, they will not give me any work and I have asked for it and I sit here all day doing absolutley nothing. It isn't like I have not put forth the effort but i feel like they are truly pushing me to leave earlier (quite). I can not due to my financial situation. So, knowing I have nothing to do all day I asked if I could just go home early. And they said No, what should or what can I do. I am forced to sit here 8 1/2 hours a day doing absolutely nothing. They won't fire me; and they expect me to take time off during work hours to look for a job...Uhhh hello I can't afford to take the time off cause we don't get paid.!

I just received my welcome package from my new job that I will start on November 27. There's is one problem. They are asking for w2 forms for the last 2 years. Why are they asking for it? Is it to verify how much I was making before? I sort of lied on my previous salary.
What should I do? I am afraid they will terminate the contract if they find out I lied about my salary history. Can I use my stock options and add it to my salary? Isn't that part of my income?

Please help.

Should I stay in a town that I hate because the job pays well (and has good benefits)and buy a new house that I don't really like? Or should I go back to a town that I love, where I already have a house (don't own it yet) that I love and have fixed up (partially the way I want) but I do not have a job there and the job potential is not as good? I would have to quit my government job and take whatever I could get.

How do you decide between a job that gives you experience, lots of days off and benefits in a desolate, town full of greedy people and a beautiful town where you feel at home and happy but do not have a job?
