Do employers have the right to demand your e-mail password so that they can monitor your activity to see who you're talking to and make sure you're saying what they want to hear to people. It's really to have total control over communication that takes place in the company and to make sure that the "executive" team isn't being talked about behind their back and also to make sure that people don't know and aren't talking about the boss and his extramarital affair. This can't be legal can it? He will say it's for occasional monitoring to make sure we're using e-mail for professional purposes, but I know better.

After week I called on Monday and HR said they are waiting from the department to decide on interview date. Today is Friday and i still have not heard anything from HR. I am not sure if this is good or bad? I still feel positive about it but also worried. Not sure if they are too busy or they have someone else in mind. PLEASE HELP. thank you

I would like a job role where I can use my knowledge gained during my degree course of assessing current work flows of an organisation, and making recommendations into improving them, so that the same amount of productivity can be achieved in less time and/or using less resources, along with eliminating any possible duplication of work and uneccessary paperwork.

What would be the job title for this type of role and what type of organizations can I apply to for this?

Thanks

In the next week I am supposed to be interviewed for the job of English Language Program Coordinator. I wish that friends help me in two ways 1. to tell me: What do I need to become a good English Language Program Coordinator and 2. What would convince the interviewer that I am the right person. Love to all!

I have wanted to become a nurse for a long time. I have never discussed this with my boss as I am fairly shy and until recently was overweight and shy. I have now lost some weight and feel more sure of myself and the fact that I would like to pursue nursing as a career.

My boss is a nurse herself and it is actually a nursing home where I work but I am a secretary and not on the care side at all.

I need my reference to apply for my nursing diploma to be a nurse who I know so she would be ideal for a reference. Also although I have bad points such as shyness etc, she does know all my good points such as never having time off sick and being punctual and using intitiative.

I am just scared to approach her as I feel she may not think me suitable to be a nurse and that she would wonder why I have never mentioned it before. Even though deep down it is something I would love.

Any idea's of what I could say to her to broach this subject.

Thank you very much x

I recently was made aware that I am making approximately $1,000 less/month than my 2 co-workers that do the exact same job. I have a certification that neither of them do. I have 4 years work experience to their 10. How can I discuss this with my boss while being sure not to let on to my co-workers that I'm upset they make so much more. (Doing so would certianly get me fired).
