You can make around 4-600 a week if your good at what you do. Now there will be weeks especially when it is raining or really cold where you won't make much money. But their will be weeks when you will make up for that because you won't have time to breath you'll be doing so much nail work. The most I made when I was a nail tech was 750 in a week. However I do know nail technicians that have made 1K a week. But they have an awsome clientele. Also they work in upscale salons. Stay away from the cheap nail salons because the pay will be good but they do very poor quality work and people usually go to the upscale salons to complain about the work. If you have no choice but to work in a chop shop nail salon make sure the quality of your work stays up there. Also make sure that you are sanitizing you nail supplies and don't let them rag on you for keeping up a good standard of work and cleanliness. Good luck to you.

If I were a nail technician i would rent a booth pay my rent weekly or monthly what ever floats your boat. I'd make on prices and all the profits would be mine. A nail tech can do three people very well per hour and make any where from $75 to $125.00/hr. Depends on what service is performed. If a nail tech is working for someone else the fair thing to do would be to give them a percentage of the profits. If the tech is using the owners tools and merchandise I think 25% to 35% of the take is reasonable.

It would depend on where in the country the salon is, how big it is and how good/experienced the nail technician is. Can't you look for similar jobs in careers magazines and online to check?

I looked it up on salary.com, it depends on your area...but i looked it up for where i live (the Kansas City metro area) for a manicurist (closest thing) and it said nationally, it ranges between 10,300-26,651 and locally it was 15,562-22,334.

Two goats and forty sheckles per week. Not sensible? I would say £300 per week.
