I was called for interview. but then i recieved e-mail that they have to reschedule the interview because the manager has to go somewhere for one week. After week I called on Monday and HR said they are waiting from the department to decide on interview date. Today is Friday and i still have not heard anything from HR. I am not sure if this is good or bad? I still feel positive about it but also worried. Not sure if they are too busy or they have someone else in mind. PLEASE HELP. thank you

Please keep on the company until they say, Thank you but we have decided to go with another candidate. The job is yours to lose. Sometimes employers pick the candidate that is persistent enough to wade through conflicting schedules, changed meeting times. Stay persistent. The rewards are given to those that keep at it.

Never wait for an interview. Since next week is a short work week because of the 4-day weekend coming up, then it is best to apply elsewhere. If they think that you are a potential candidate and the right person for the job, then they would want to meet with you first and then decide.

It's possible they are close to hiring someone else and do not want to waste their time on additional interviews. It is also possible that they had an unexpected load of work to do.

So, I am sorry, but you will just have to be patient and wait for them to make the next move. Good luck!

Keep pursuing other opportunities - there could be numerous reasons the interview has been delayed, including reconsideration of the position. If you wait around for this one you could miss out on something better.
