I was looking into a job at target and was curious what the portrait store people get payed.

Go in looking nice and ask for an application. You can see if you can get a job first. Interviewing is good practice.

I don't know anymore than anyone else. Its probably less than 10 dollars an hour. Realize that while technically if you are paid to take pictures, that makes you a professional, but in the real world its like saying that working at McDonalds makes you a chef. It doesn't really for that way. If your interested in someday going professional, its best to avoid these types of jobs as it teaches bad habits, shuts off creativity and leaves you in a worse position than if you had never had the job. At least in my opinion.

Minimum wage.
And the pictures you get are worth what you pay for them (i.e. "not much").
It's an OK job, but you're not gonna get rich or make "art" :)
