What can I do legally?

My supervisor gave me a negative 90 day eval. that was incorrect, the next day she called me to her office and told me I do a phenomenol {her word} job and the only reason she did this is because her boss wants to give my job to a friend of hers. She also gave me a letter of recommendation if I needed it for job hunting. She did not fire me but this is all lies and due to self respect..I know I cannot work there

I would quit and file a complaint with the Human Rights Commission. Get all the details down and go see a lawyer. If they owe you any money, go to Labour Standards. It might also help to go to see an Employment counsellor and ask for some advice about your situation and what you inadvertently might have done wrong. Make sure you don't have communication or behavioural problems.

Do not work for people who dislike you, are ridiculously demanding and make vague complaints about your attitude. If I complain to someone or about someone, I do the following:

! write down two examples of the behaviour along with dates and times. If I am not able to do this, I write my general impression and list at least two specific displays of behaviour and attitude problems. I give my feelings on the matter and not the person. I separate my feelings about them from the issue. I say why it bothers me and what I want from them in terms of improvement, temperament and behaviour. Attitude is a useless word. Talk about moods, actions, comments, temperaments, impressions, anything but attitude.

While looking for job out there, Work at home after your working hours or during weekend. go for the internet business which requires less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing, or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.

Insist that a copy of her letter of reccommendation go into your personnel file. Then find another job.

well I say screw it, any legal action will only cost you time, money and aggravation. Take the recommendation and get the hell out of there.
