How many employees do you have and what do you want them to do besides work and what is your business
without that knowledge here are some:
nothing says motivation like free stuff
if customer service is important to your business...every time you see them do something outstanding in the way of customer service write their name down on a piece of paper after a week or two draw a name and buy that person lunch if you have a big company offer them a little cash incentive
if you are having problems with attendance....if they have perfect attendance for the quarter buy that person lunch or a monetary incentive....if they have perfect attendance the next quarter and the next one go up exponentially(set a limit on how far you will go)
and if it is a vacation day they are taking don't count that against them. you could even offer them an extra vacation day for perfect attendance.
if sales are important offer a higher commission to the person who makes the most sales in a quarter if your regular commission is 10% offer 15 or 20 for higher sales.

Cash or other incentives don't have to be much. a lunch would say you appreciate them and not cost you too much and if you are going to offer them a monetary incentive it really doesn't have to be much either...giving a good hard working employee even a gift basket or gift certificate would show your appreciation as well as increase production

a million.)i think of between the biggest errors bosses make is to no longer permit you comprehend what that's you're doing this is beneficial. supervisor's tend to concentration on the negatives in effortless terms. i'm unsure why this is in spite of the undeniable fact that it ability alot to me to take heed to my boss say "stable activity" each and every as quickly as in awhile. 2.) Incentives. i'm a collector (assemble from agencies) and we get bonuses if we assemble over a undeniable volume. funds continuously motivates. 3.) stable reward. which contains having ill days. this is one difficulty i do unlike approximately my activity suitable now. we've holiday days yet no ill days. we are penalized if we don't supply 24 hours observe earlier taking an afternoon without work yet once you're relatively ill you in effortless terms can no longer do this so it relatively is the two be penalized or pass to artwork feeling depressing and unfold in spite of you will desire to all human beings else. no longer very motivating and not economically stable for the corporate the two if a rather good variety of the staff lands up ill because of the fact an worker felt that they had no different selection yet to come again in whilst ill.

The AMA (Americam Management Assoc?) has seminars all over and speakers that will come do it on site. I was taught that money is not a motivator, but I couldn't disagree more, so give everyone a raise and check the AMA listings and who knows, maybe they will send somebody out to motivate you. Just kiddin'.

Make them feel like they're a crucial part of your long-term goals and success..... That and money works well too...
Or incentives like a vacation or some thing that is of high value...
