Yes, they would let you go in a minute if it was good for their business, what is good for your life? You do not have to list them on any application form.

Does it feel morally wrong, do not do it and tell the 2nd employer that you told them the hours you were available, but they have messed you up.

Your choice.

don't just quit- it looks bad as a reference. just let them know that because of the conflicting hours you'll need to give your two weeks' notice if they can't accomodate you. most times if you're new they'll tell you they don't need you for the next two weeks and you can just leave now, but because you gave the proper notice (a letter of resignation always helps,) they can't hold it against you 'cause THEY asked YOU to leave. p.s. is this 2nd job at a Home Depot? they do this a lot...

tell them that the hours are conflicking and see if they can change it to make it work then if it doesent you will probably have to quit.

You can, but it doesn't it make it look good for you if you apply for another job in the future. It shows that you are not dependable.

quit and don't use them as a reference. It'll be like you never worked there! What idiot would use them as a reference anyway. " It would be a bad reference" some have answered!
